The purpose of this letter is to express our deepest and most sincere appreciation to all of you who played a part in the treatment of our beloved pet, Hans. We definitely know that without your interest, experience, knowledge and immediate treatment, Hans would not have lived through this latest illness. When we arrived at your hospital last Saturday, I could not help but to recall the last time we had taken on of our pets to you for care. Unfortunately, our precious Brandi had been hit by a car and her death had been immediate and without the possibility of recovering. It was, without a doubt, one of our saddest times as she was such a wonderful family member. The total respect for our loss that was demonstrated by your staff was so wonderful at a time when I thought my heart was so broken and never to mend. Unfortunately, I did not take the time to express our appreciation and I do apologize for that. I just could not let another time go by without you knowing how much we appreciate all of you and your love of animals because we think it is truly a unique person who can love animals as much they would people Hans is doing so much better. When we picked him up on Sunday evening, he was very weak and had not eaten since he arrived, but you will be glad to know that he did eat, (a little), once we got him home. His appetite is slowly returning to normal, and each day we see more and more of his own personal character coming back. Thank you again for giving us back our beautiful Hans. We hope to have him as a part of our family for a long time to come.
Sincerely,
Anna and Robert Leininger
